	Greetings from Hong Kong! I took me so long to write you a thank-you note because, up till now, a week after our return, I am still very hung over from our experience in Morocco. I can't quite believe that I am back, and everything is moving on: work, family gatherings, and many other things. This is a wonderful feeling, to have the holiday lingering. And I have you to thank. You have been a wonderful guide. After the introduction to Morocco in the Medina of Fez, your road trip has once again shown me that in Morocco, it is time to abandon all expectations. Let the sights, sounds, tastes, and the solid feeling of stepping on the terrain convince you what it is to travel. Thank you for startling us with the quaint town of Ifrane, slowly guiding us into the adobe kaspas in Midelt and Rissani; the sky full of stars and the backyard of sand dunes were definitely unforgettable. Thank you for arranging the desert tour. Trite as it may sound, one's whole perspective would really change after a camel ride, and a night in the Berber tent, and a morning greeted by desert sunrise, and the Berber Whiskey. I thank the Berber for their hospitality. Thank you for bringing us the splendour of gorges and mountains, for giving us a glimpse of nature not only true in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, for walking us up to the relics of Ait Ben Haddou, and for letting us oversee the lush oases where locals still strive to make such a wonderful place a wonderful home. Thank you for answering questions, silly ones, serious ones, random ones, unsolved ones. The best guide would not be one to show all, but to let the guests begin to wonder and to start their own search. And you did. Each of us would want to return for a different reason. Thank you, especially, for not just leaving after our soujourn; thank you for returning, twice, to recover Bernard's bags of goodies. Shokran. Sahaah. El Khamdulilah. As all Moroccans say, inshallah. I'm sorry I took so long to email you. I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your company during the trip, talking to you and hanging out with you in the desert. I learnt so much about the people and the life and politics of Morocco through you, and this is one experience that I will never forget my entire life. Everyone who sees my photos of my trip are so envious of what I got to see, but I tell them that although the sights were gorgeous, it was really the people on the trip that made the difference, especially you.
